We are committed to:

  • Upholding children’s rights and voices.

  • Promoting equity, inclusion and belonging.

  • Actively preventing and responding to racism and discrimination.

  • Maintaining strong child safety practices and procedures.

  • Working in partnership with families and communities.

Jacobs Early Learning Centre is committed to providing a culturally safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all children, families, staff and community members.

We recognise and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations custodians of this land and honour their continuing connection to culture, community and Country. We are committed to creating a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children feel safe, valued and supported and where their cultures identities and perspectives are respected and celebrated.

Jacobs Early Learning Centre has zero tolerance for child abuse, neglect, racism discrimination or any form of harm. The safety, wellbeing and dignity of every child is our highest priority. All children have the right to feel safe, protected and respected at all times.

Through ongoing reflection, education and accountability we strive to ensure Jacobs Early Learning Centre remains a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive in safety and respect.
